It a daily fascination to see what new things are happening in there.
For some days we’d been watching the development of a white Bat flower. When it was fully out it needed to be captured so its beauty could be enjoyed indefinitely.
I love stamens, and this flower goes over the top! (I found out that the “whiskers” are not stamens, but small modified leaves called filiform bracteoles) The ribbed large lush leaves are so shiny too. I put a pot under this bloom, and when it was done it dropped seeds and I even got a few babies.
